How to apply for a peer mentorship position on the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship at UCT
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cape Town (UCT) invites
applications for the position of Program mentor, from students who are registered for a full-time programme in any of the faculties at the university who do not hold an award from this initative.
Please read the accompanying Terms of Reference for Program mentor applicants before completing this application form.
Applications have to be submitted - along with all required supporting documentation - no later than 30 September 2019. See section 6 of the Terms of Reference of the Mentorship Programme document.
Registered students who do not hold an award from this initiative, will be eligible to apply for this peer-to-peer mentorship programme.
Applicants must be in good academic and disciplinary standing at the university.
Applicants must demonstrate leadership capability, personal-management, good communication, adaptability and interpersonal capabilities.
Applicants must remain accessible, committed and engaged throughout the duration of this mentorship programme.
CLOSING DATE: 30 September 2019
Applications will close at 11.59PM (SAST) on 30th of September 2019. No applications will be accepted after the closing date.
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cape Town reserves the right to cancel incomplete and/or late applications, to effect changes to the conditions of the peer mentors or to make no appointments at all.
