How to apply for a peer mentorship position on the MasterCard Foundation Scholarship at UCT

Undergraduates

  1. All applicants are required to sign and complete all sections of the relevant peer mentor application form.
  2. Applications have to be submitted – along with all required supporting documentation– to the Program Co-ordinator: MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program via one of the following by no later than 30 September 2015:
    • Facsimile : +27 21 650 5771
    • Email : info_mcfsp@uct.ac.za
  3. The following required supporting documents must be attached to the relevant peer mentor application form:  
  • Proof of Registration for the current degree
  • A letter of motivation of no more than one A4 page (12 point and single spaced) using the following as context
    • List the qualities that, for you, define mentorship and elaborate on your suitability for the cluster(s) you have chosen to apply for.

The peer mentor application form can be downloaded from this website, or can be sourced on request from the Recruitment and Peer Mentor Officer at info_mcfsp@uct.ac.za (telephone number +27 (0)21 650 5923 / 3601).

The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cape Town reserves the right to cancel incomplete and/or late applications, to effect changes to the conditions of the peer mentors or to make no appointments at all.

Postgraduates
